Torix - Reflected Gaming is obviously new to the Insurgency competitive scene, give us a little background on your team
Ctd - Reflected Gaming is ran by a guy named Major. I played CS:GO with him and then we started to play insurgency together and he asked me to run a team for him under his community.
Torix - Have you guys ever played any other games competitively before?
Ctd - It really comes down to Sasquatch and myself. We've known each other for at least 10 years now. Met through call of duty 1 and have been gaming together since playing for random leagues and tournaments. The rest of the team has just been around a little bit and were decent so we went for it.
Torix - Ctd, you've shown yourself to be quite the player, what's your history?
Ctd - Been playing games for a little over 10 years on the computer. Started out with Wolfenstein Enemy Territory and then worked my way through the Call of Duties until they came out with the 9th version of Modern Warfare.
Torix - What's your favorite gun to shred with?
Ctd - For insurgency its the M4 without a doubt. Pinpoint accuracy with easy recoil control.
Torix - I've noticed you and a lot of your players have a lot of CS:GO experience, how do you feel this transitions over to Insurgency?
Ctd - Counter Strike is a fast paced game for players with a quick reaction time. Insurgency has more of that Battlefield game play without the vehicles so we need those CS eyes to pick out the scenery.
Torix - What's rG's favorite map?
Ctd - Do not think we decided on one. We just find strats that work out, usually the buddy system, and then make it work for every map.
Torix - Explain how your buddy system benefits you.
Ctd - It's a team game. You can do pretty well with anything in life if you get another set of eyes and some coordinated hands!
Torix - You guys just recently had a very hard fought overtime win versus =Tagless on Siege, tell us how you guys pulled together to come out with that victory?
Ctd - Tagless had everyone available the day before my teammates were told to get on. I swore I told them that day as well. Well I managed to get 3 subs on and we went for it. Started out getting spanked by the Insurgents and Tagless's experience. Then Halftime came. Siege is definitely a lot easier on the Insurgents side and I still can't pick out why. Both have the same distance to run, I guess its the difference in street scenery. Well After we tied it with the easy side, OT worked out pretty well for us too. If we actually get our starting players to connect for a match, We plan to dominate and take the gold.
Torix - Are you guys preparing hard for your next match on Uprising? Underestimated Gamers is a pretty good team.
Ctd - Hell no haha. I think maybe 2 people know the map, its just got an easy layout. We should have at least 4 main strings on so hopefully UG is gonna have some strats to give us a challange.
